NTC Thermistor
Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor is a temperature-sensitive resistor whose resistance decreases as temperature increases.
- Typical Use: Temperature sensing, inrush current limiting, thermal protection
- Symbol: ⏚ or R with a diagonal arrow and θ
- Key Parameters:
- R25: Resistance at 25°C (e.g., 10kΩ)
- B-value: Material constant (e.g., 3950K)
- Tolerance: ±1%, ±3%
- Common Circuit: Used in voltage divider with fixed resistor to MCU ADC input.
Tip: Always check B-value and R-T table for accurate temperature calculation.
